Friday Five

CowHampshire has inspired me to do a Friday Five

Queen Esther - 1850 - Division 11, Madison, Fl - age 14
Purim Carmine - 1816 - Ross Ohio (Ohio Census 1790-1890)
Ahasuerus Marsales - 1810 - Schenectady, NY
Queen Vashti (is currently living in the Bronx, according to the Public Records index...will she appear on a census released in the future?)
Mordecai (one name only) - 1930 - Lamar, Al - age 0 (ok, this is a newborn without a first name, but, still...)

Lots of Hamans.

    Ah, yes! It is Purim! The story of Esther is one of my favorite Bible stories, with all the drama, humor, and poetic justice of a Shakespearean play.
