Pocket Computers - 1851



No. 6. Pocket Computer, 4 inches in diameter, with Time, Calendar, and Compass cards.

Fuller's Pocket Computer actually dates back to 1851, and can be found in the Official descriptive and illustrated Catalogue of the great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of all Nations: 1851, Volume 5

  1. This reminds me of the time we visited the MIT museum with our high schooler, and she was fascinated by the slide rule exhibit and demonstration. She thought it was positively medieval until I told her we learned how to use them in junior high school. Then she laughed...
