John, What fun. I can't help but wonder if Helix had been a twin if the name would have been Double?

And on the HOGS and GHOTI front --- a quick search of surnames on Heritage Quest for HOGS produced 54 Hogs between 1860 and 1930; 0 Ghoti. A second search just for given names: 6 folks named Hogs between 1870 and 1910; 0 folks named Ghoti.

HOGS is the clear winner! LOL!

According to the public records index on Ancestry there are currently 4 people with the surname Ghoti. However, there are more with the surname Hogs.

Ghoti may be rare, but not extinct.
