Analogy

Trying to trace your ancestry back to William the Conqueror, Jesus, or Confucius is sort of like a chicken trying to prove it's descended from a T-Rex.

Apparently, The chicken is, though.

Fascinating. I read the newspaper article and had the thought "what if our scientists create larger chickens, using selective breeding or steroids or additives or whatever) to increase food supply - would they act like T-rex's? By that I mean would they "peck and eat humans."

It might make a great science fiction takeoff on Jurassic Park, eh?
